BUILDING TIMELINE

To ensure the building process moves forward in a timely fashion, deadlines have been established. Please review these deadlines with your home designer, builder, landscape designer and anyone else you are working with to build your home. 

1 – PURCHASE LOT

Plan to purchase your lot within 30 days of submitting your Offer to Purchase. 
Your closing date is:

2 – HOME AND LANDSCAPE PLAN SUBMISSION

From the time you purchase your lot, you will have up to 6 months to submit your plans to VR&D for the Kohler Co. Design Review Committee. 
Your deadline for submission is:

3 – DESIGN REVIEW

From the time you submit your plans, you will have 3 months to gain the necessary approvals from Kohler Co. and the Village of Kohler Planning Commission. 
Your approvals are due by:

4– HOME COMPLETION

Within 12 months of obtaining approval from the Village of Kohler Planning Commission, your home should be near completion. 
Your deadline is:

5 – LANDSCAPE INSTALLATION

Within 20 months of obtaining approval from the Village of Kohler Planning Commission, your landscape must be completed.

Upon completion, contact Village Realty & Development at (920) 457-1075 to schedule your final review. If everything is built to plan, your construction deposit will be returned.
